New Hartford boys soccer fueled to Class A crown by memory of ‘gut-wrenching’ section finals losses (42 photos)

East Syracuse, N.Y. — Baltazar Vale de Gato, Noah Partenza and a host of New Hartford boys soccer players ran to the stands at ESM Spartan Stadium with glee, holding their Section III championship banner.
After two consecutive losses in the Class A final, second-seeded New Hartford finally came out on top in the championship game. The Spartans defeated No. 4 South Jefferson, 4-0, to claim the Class A crown on Saturday afternoon.
